2018 Dan Clinic
Adult Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in assisting students at the Youth Dan Clinics! Your help as counselor, session instructor/assistant, runner, medical staff, or other duty is greatly appreciated! Camp organizers are always looking for assistance in providing the best possible experience for our youth students. In the event there is an excess of volunteers for cabin counselors, volunteers will be notified in advance of the possibility of other duties that may be available.
All volunteers are REQUIRED to register online and have all necessary clearances to volunteer at any capacity at the Youth Dan camps prior to camp. In Pennsylvania, adults who are charged with care of children (e.g., our overnight Youth Dan Camps), or regular contact such with children (e.g., during classes on a weekly basis) are required by law to have a background check conducted every five (5) years. There are also requirements around the mandatory reporting of suspected child abuse.
Registering as a Counselor/Adult Volunteer
Please note: All volunteers must register online through EM and read, sign, and submit your Camp Counselor Statement at check-in.
